What inspires me?
This is a question that was asked on the Creative Jumpstart 2014  www.nathaliesstudio.com

I think I am inspired by COLOR.  Doesn't matter what form it comes in whether it is leftover paint on a pallette,or looking at papers, or things in nature.

Here is my completed project.  I used some Antique Gold rub n buff, and popped my photos up.

In progress

Nathalie wants to see a project in progress, so here goes.  This is for Creative Jumpstart 2014  www.nathaliesstudio.com
Household item is cardboard from Pecan Swirls, honey buns, tea bag boxes...  Totally raided the recycle bag.  Then I diecut the triangles with my Cuttlebug, and then used various embossing folders.  Then I started misting.  I wasn't exactly thinking it would be so pastel, and my metallic rubons didn't help...  So..  yes it is is still in progress.  A stop at the hardware store today, so we will see if it "finished it off"!  lol  And yes the Libra - symetrical side came out again!  lol  Had one idea, and when I started gluing - it totally changed...

Don't worry be happy

For this project, I used the following household products:  spackling, drywall tape, and my Scotch labelmaker I have had for 30 years!  I used a ton of mask/stencils including the arrows that I made myself.  Then I went to town with my Luminarte Twinklin H20s that I have had for many years. I love the shimmer that they give.  I painted layers and layers until I got it like I wanted.  This is an entry for CJS14  www.nathaliesstudio.com   I will be playing with this concept again!

House & Burlap

This is a project that I tryed from Dina Wakely's Creative Jumpstart 2014 using joint compound or spackling.  I have been wanting to use this House stencil by Stencil Girl since I won it in one of their bloghops.  So I thought I would try the stencil on top of a piece of burlap.  I was pleasantly surprised that the spackling thru the stencil was sturdy the day after.  So I got out my paints, and I am really tickled how it turned out.  Now I am waiting for another piece to dry to try her example.

Fly Away

Here is another small item I made using the masking tape technique by Marjie Kemper with Creative Jump Start 2014. http://www.nathaliesstudio.com
This time I covered it with torn pieces of masking tape, and then used gesso on top before I inked.  It made the background even more subdued.  I then stamped on top.  Fun project.
