This is the only picture I have of my Great Grandfather.  I am not sure if this was taken when I met and spent a couple days with him the summer of 1967, that I spent 6 weeks with my grandparents in TX.  But the two things I remember most, was him playing the accordion for us, and Mamaw dancing a jig.  And the fact that he drank Dr. Pepper with his meals, and would raise the bottle and declare it the best drink in the world!  lol

I used music sheet - bottle cap (for the Dr Pepper lol); 7+ papers ; something from the kitchen (the flowers are made from one of Stans coffee filters) and mask/stencil using paint/mists...

We found this pine tree years ago i Osceola Nat'l Forest.  Makes you wonder why it is shaped like this and all the little branches coming off of it was really cool.
