Paper Secrets August Sketch Challenge - with Echo Park
I used the Boys Collection - it may be "for boys" but it suits ALOT my pictures - wish I had more of it !

This is me and my younger brother Mike - 1966 - camped at Standing Indian, NC (which is just north of where I now live - you can actually see the mountain peak from here)  Dad was hiking with the Boy Scouts on the Appalachian Trail.  Mom would pack a lunch, and the three of us would go on day hikes.  Not long after these pictures, Mike was throwing rocks, and he accidentally threw it behind him and hit me in the eye!  Mom had to go campsite to campsite to get ice for my eye!  Ah.. the memories......

I made this for my biz co-worker - its her 40th this month.  I glued it down and realized I forgot the ribbon, but no getting that PVA glue up !  Hope she likes it !

All of the papers are patterned except the black. I made the flowers out of sparkly white tuille, and added bling to the middles.
